International donations

International donors are able to make donations to the University of South Australia in their local currency. This allows the donor to make a tax deductible gift according to their local legal system, and also provides a safe and secure way of making the international donation.

Please note, due to Australian banks no longer accepting foreign currency cheques, donations may no longer be received via international cheque. Please refer to online payment options below.

UK donors

United Kingdom taxpayers can make a donation to the University of South Australia via the UK Fund for Charities, a charity registered in England and Wales (No. 1097462). Donations to the UK Fund from UK taxpayers can be made under Gift Aid.

If you would like to donate to the University of South Australia via the UK Fund for charities, you can do so at by selecting the University of South Australia from the list of UKFC International Programme members.

The UK Fund for Charities will issue a receipt for income tax purposes and direct your donation to UniSA.

The University of South Australia is a member of the Chapel & York US Foundation, allowing us to accept tax-deductible gifts from the United States. The Chapel & York US Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) with EIN 81-2161937.

If you would like to donate to the University of South Australia via the Chapel & York US Foundation, you can do by selecting the ‘University of South Australia’ from the list titled, ‘Suggest a recipient.’

Chapel and York US Foundation will issue you a receipt for income tax purposes and direct your donation to the University of South Australia.

The University of South Australia is a member of the Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation, allowing us to accept tax-deductible donations in Hong Kong.

Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation can accept gifts in the following currencies: HKD, GBP, AUD and USD. Hong Kong SAR Inland Revenue Department guidelines require that gift receipts are issued in HKD and HSBC’s publicly quoted exchange rate (on the day the funds clear our account) and will be used for any conversions into HKD.
